Jane the Virgin was on the air from 2014 until 2019, starring Gina Rodriguez as Jane Villanueva. The show made fans laugh and made fans cry. It was full of twists and turns, like a true telenovela should be. It had a couple of amazing love stories within it. And there were some fabulous fashion moments, as well!

Over the years, these characters served up some amazing looks, but if we had to narrow them all down to the best 10, these would be the winners. So step back in time and enjoy these stylish scenes from Jane the Virgin.

10/10 The Roaring 20s

Chapter Forty-One of this series mimicked a silent movie, meaning there were even more special surprises than usual… like this retro outfits. Raf could often be found in a suit, but this one was quite dapper, and Jane's flapper-inspired look was just divine. The fashion from this era was the perfect mix of elegance and fun, which could sum up Jane herself! Plus, she rocked a short hairstyle, too, in order to finish the ensemble off in the perfect way, and her makeup and sparkles added to it all beautifully.

9/10 NSFW

This show featured flashbacks, dream sequences, and other unique elements, meaning literally anything could happen. One time, the world was shown what it would be like if Jane and Raf had a dominatrix-style relationship, and of course, these outfits have made the list! There is lots of black leather. There is hardware, such as spikes on a choker and studs on a corset. Everything is very tough and edgy, from Jane's slick ponytail to her ready-to-use whip. Yes, the only way to make this couple even more attractive was to give them a 50 Shades Of Grey makeover.

8/10 Here Comes The Bride

Weddings always make for big TV moments, and there were a couple of notable ones within this story. First, Jane married Michael, and on that day, all three Villanueva women looked gorgeous. Alba's look was conservative, as usual, and it was in a pretty pale pink color that was very sweet. Xo stuck to her fun and flirty fashion with a coral dress and bling on her collar and on all her jewelry. And Jane had a youthful yet classy gown that sat off her shoulders and wrapped her in lace.

7/10 The Bachelorette

jane reality TV

Some of the fantasy scenes displayed a bachelorette version of the main character, and since she was inspired by a reality TV show, she certainly brought the fashion. Just look at this dress: It is covered in sparkles. It turns heads. It is accessorized in all the right ways. And it is yet another ensemble that makes this character/actress look stunning!

Jane usually dressed in a pretty simple way, since she was busy writing or working or raising a child, but in these scenes, she was given a glam makeover that deserves a spot on this list.

6/10 Baby Bump

When Jane did get out of sweatpants, she probably put on a cute dress… the type that could be paired with sneakers for a day at the park or that could be dressed up for, say, a baby shower. This particular one was blue, a favorite color for Jane to wear, and it was covered in polka dots. It was festive and bubbly, like she is, but it was also tasteful and modest, since Jane dressed in a more conservative way that others (like her mother). And that baby bump just adds some extra cuteness!

5/10 Carrie Bradshaw

Another fantastical moment showed Jane as Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City. Therefore, there was a flirty dress that had a big flower on it, just like the one seen in the opening of this television series.

Once again, Jane is wearing blue, but this outfit is a bit showier than some of her normal ones; from the fit and the cut to the shape at the top, it was very pretty on her… but it was also very Carrie.

4/10 Denim Jackets

Some of Jane's day-to-day looks utilized denim jackets, and she had a couple of cute ones. These could be thrown over dresses, paired with sweatpants or worn with a blouse and jeans, to work with all aspects of Jane's life.

In this scene, she wore a light denim jacket (that was possibly even just a button-up shirt) with a white summer dress. She looks fresh and airy, and this is a simple yet effective look that suits this character well.

3/10 Yellow Ruffles

When Jane wanted to elevate her outfits a bit, she seemed to opt for ruffled dresses quite often, and this is a great example, with all of its great details.

It accentuated her waist then flared out for some bounce. It had frills on the bottom and top, making it a good party option. It was a muted color palette so that the details could speak for themselves. And it had spaghetti straps since that was a go-to choice in the heat of Florida.

2/10 Wedding Bells...Again

jane the virgin finale

As true fans know, this television series ended with Raf and Jane finally tying the knot, which means Jane wore another memorable wedding gown. In her ceremony with Michael, there was lace and an elegance inside a church. In her ceremony with Raf, there was a more relaxed feel, and they were wed outside.

Both moments were total perfection, but this dress seemed so Jane; it was refined, like she is, but it was also sort of boho and funky, since she is full of spunk and life. And her groom doesn't look too shabby either, in another great suit!

1/10 Petra's Shorts

When talking about fashion on Jane the Virgin, Petra's shorts must be discussed. Her style was very polished and trendy, and she loved a formal pair of shorts. As mentioned, these characters lived in a hot and humid climate… but this character was also a boss babe who managed employees at an established hotel. That being said, tailored shorts like these were a good option for her, and she always wore them with all the right pieces, from head to toe.
